Ahn'Qiraj 20 Transmog farming
This guide will be about how you run AQ20 proberly to get the most item looted value each hour running it.
Requirements for this farm:
lvl 80+
Tips for this:
Lootappraiser (addon which shows you looted item value)
Some good music or a movie on second monitor if you have that.
When killing a bigger pack of mobs stand against a wall to avoid getting knocked back.
So, what you'll start with is to get to the raid entrance. The easiest way would be Uldum portal and then fly over to silithus. But if u dont have the portal to Uldum, you can always buy a portal to Caverns of time in Tanaris, you will be able to buy a portal from a mage which can be found anywhere in any cities almost.
Now when you reach Silithus the entrance is found right here at the very bottom of silithus:
When you reach it you should just go inside the path i usually run is this one:
Now i would like to point out before you are starting that you should NOT kill any bosses in the raid, if you do so you will be locked untill wednesday and you cant do the farm anymore then. Also in the room with the second boss there is alot of monster you should be able to sneak past them all without they will be attacking you.
Other than that you should kill all mobs you come across for best chance of the best transmog.
When you reach the room in the bottom right corner the, pink one you should kill all the small worms kinda mobs that looks like this:
i spent 30 minutes running this one and i could do 4 runs (may be more if you are a ranged class) and this was what i looted:
Would like to point out that this is EU-Silvermoon the most fucked up server when it comes to Transmog. if this was another server this would probably be 10k+
i decided to compare all the items i looted with another server so you can see what i would've earn if it was on that server.
Silvermoon EU:
Gold from sold junk = 74g
2 illusion dust = 12g (6g/ea)
5 lesser eternal essence = 5g (1g/ea)
17 green BoE's = 2.300g
All in all = 2.391g for 30 minutes
Khadgar EU:
Gold from sold junk = 74g
2 illusion dust = 22g (11g/ea)
5 lesser eternal essence = 25g (5g/ea)
17 green BoE's = 6.716g
All in all = 6.837g for 30 minutes
So as you can see the prices varies so much from server to server. This might not even be worth if you are on a high populated server.
